Through my eyes

Berta Amelinaite is a creative director, model, and photographer specializing in fashion, portrait, lifestyle and food photography, living across Europe and New York. After graduating with a bachelor’s in Advertising, she started out working in-house at an agency in marketing and has been on both brand & agency sides for the past 6+ years as a senior brand strategist and creative consultant. She understands a brand’s needs and the importance of great content that tells a story from an authentic place.

She has over a decade of experience behind the lens as well as in front, that allows her to connect with her subject in a more intimate and real way. She approaches photography from a place of mutual creation. As a photographer she has shot at NYFW backstage, been published in PAPER magazine, Vanguard, MOB, Flanelle magazine, Vice, and Arcadia magazine. Her work from brand partnerships has been featured on the Zoe Report, Buzzfeed, Prose, Mejuri, Grazia, Farm Rio, and Kin Euphorics.

Berta’s work ethic comes from her immigrant background and her career in sports. She competed competitively in track & field for the University of Alabama and was selected into Team USA. The discipline and determination she built while competing on a collegiate level is the same discipline & determination she brings to her creative careers.
